ORDERING INFORMATION AND POLICIES

Thank you for shopping with Mr Chocolate’s Travel.  We are your one stop shop for unique products and travel requirements. Customer service is highest on our priority list and in order to provide the smoothest ordering process possible, the following policies apply to all orders placed with us either online or over the phone. STOCK INVENTORY AND AVAILABILITY

We maintain high standards and we endeavour to ensure our inventory is up to date at all times.  Sometimes stock information may be incorrect due to breakages, inventory error, other warehousing issues or human error.  When an item listed as in stock and cannot be shipped you will be provided with available options via email or in some instances, phone, within 24 hours of placing your order.

DELAYED ORDERS

Generally, we ship items ordered before 12pm ON THE DAY if it is a business day, or by 12pm NEXT BUSINESS DAY.  In rare circumstances an item may not be in stock (see stock availability) and we will advise of delay of your order.  Delays will usually be in stock and shipped within the week. 

If you have ordered more items and there happens to be a delay on a part of your order, our policy is to ship the in stock items and post the delayed order with free shipping once the item is in stock.  Communication is imperative and we will always communicate our intentions to be sure the outcome is what is desired from you, our customer. 

EXCHANGING ITEMS

When an item becomes unavailable we may provide the option to swap or exchange for alternative product/s. Exchanging items may sometimes result in an increase in order total. Any additional amount can be paid over the phone by credit card. Should you select an option that requires additional payment we will call you to arrange. If the updated total is less than the amount paid, of course a refund will be made accordingly. 

CANCELLING AN ORDER

Customers are welcome to cancel any unshipped orders at any time however please note that as we are super efficient at Mr Chocolate’s Travel, we may not be able to process all requests in time.  If you wish to cancel an order we recommend the quickest most efficient method is to call us on 0439 351 587.

Once an order has been shipped we are unable to cancel. 
Please refer to our return policy if an unwanted order is already on its way to you. 

COMMUNICATION

Sometimes we may require further information from you, our customer.  We will generally contact you via email, however, if urgent we will contact you via phone.  There are many reasons we may need to contact you.

If a response is required and is not received within 72 hours we may cancel your order. If an order is cancelled you will be refunded and notified accordingly.

DAMAGED ITEMS

Whilst we take extreme care in packaging our orders, occasionally items may arrive damaged. If you have received a damaged item please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

We will request a photo of the damaged items, assess and offer an appropriate solution.

If the solution is to return the damaged item to us we will provide a prepaid return label for you to attach to the parcel and lodge at your closest post office. 

Once we have received the damaged item back to us we will arrange a replacement or a refund depending on what solution we have negotiated.

Delivery Policies

After ordering online you will receive an email confirmation containing your order details.

Refund & Returns Policy

Due to the nature of our goods, returns can only be accepted on unused items still in their original packaging unless of course they are faulty.

To request a return, please email us at travel@mrchocolate.com.au within 1 week of receiving goods. Upon approving a return request we will communicate

All products must be returned in their original condition. All return postage / freight and insurance costs are to be paid by the buyer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Product availability

Whilst we aim to provide accurate stock information at all times, sometimes inventory may be incorrect due to varying factors.  When an item listed as in stock cannot be shipped, you will be provided various options via email. 

While such errors are rare, we reserve the right to cancel orders due to incorrect stock or pricing information. In these circumstances full refunds will be provided.

Security Policy

Mr Chocolate’s Travel uses the STRIPE Payment Gateway for its online credit card transactions. STRIPE processes online credit card transactions for thousands of merchants worldwide providing a safe and secure means of collecting payments via the Internet. All online credit card transactions performed on this site using the STRIPE gateway are secured payments.

  • Payments are fully automated with an immediate response.
    • Your complete credit card number cannot be viewed by Mr Chocolate’s Travel or any outside party.
    • All transactions are performed under SHA-256 SSL Certificate.
    • All transaction data is encrypted for storage within STRIPE’s bank-grade data centre, further protecting your credit card data.
    • STRIPE at no time touches your funds; all monies are directly transferred from your credit card to the merchant account held by Mr Chocolate’s Travel.
